Alcatel Flash 2 Review

Lately, i'm certainly humbled yet privilege enough, to be given the opportunity to try out the brand new Alcatel Flash 2, before its official release date in Singapore. One thing for sure, its camera function is superb. It is unbelievable how a phone camera can be this powerful and superior so much so the photo quality resembles of a DSLR.
So if you're thinking that a professional DSLR camera is too much of a load to carry around, consider Alcatel Flash 2!

I've always think that when it comes to mobile photography, nothing wins big brands like Apple or Samsung. Not until I tried Alcatel Flash 2, my opinion changes.

With 13MP S5K3M2 ISOCELL sensor, f/2.0 aperture and 0.3 seconds Phase Detection Auto Focus, Flash 2 captures every specific details that is essential to a superior image. Not forgetting that the RealTone flash gives an extra advantage in low light condition while maintaining the colours as true as possible to real life, for both the rear and front(5MP) camera.

Alcatel Flash 2 was ergonomically designed to fit perfectly in any hand. The non-slip and mark-free curved back keeps the device spotless and dirt-free at all times. At the same time, the balanced body gives easy access to all functions by just one hand.

Diameters (mm) 145.80 x 70.40 x 8.99

Running with Android 5.1 as its Operating System, many should be familiar and comfortable with its user interface. Its user friendly navigation has been a positive experience for me as well.

With a Dual Sim ability, the device supports up to 2 micro-SIM cards.
Alcatel Flash 2 also has a 16GB internal storage, along with an external storage that is expandable up to 128GB MicroSD. Similarly to many latest smart phones, Alcatel Flash 2's battery is non-removable.

Camera 9.8/10
Value for Money 9/10
Battery life 8/10
Performance 8.5/10
Design 9.5/10

Alcatel Flash 2's official released date was on 5th December 2015, in Singapore. It is now available in Volcanic Grey, at M1 and Lazada store, for $199, bundled together with a Flash 2 flip cover and screen protector.

At bottom line, mobile photography was made really affordable, with the upcoming Alcatel Flash 2. Its classic yet durable design, make it an outstanding piece to held on to.
